Are enzymes stable at temperatures found during the hot water cycle?Do you think detergent enzymes are stable at temperatures found during a hot water cycle in a washing machine?
They would not be put in the washing product is they were not stable at such temperatures. Some enzymes are stable right up to above 90 centigrade and the hot water in a washing machine is a lot cooler than that, generally no more than about 70 centigrade.
