Colds are caused by a virus...not cold water. I regularly wash/rinse my hair in cold water during the summer and winter...never caught a cold from doing so.Has anyone gotten a head cold from washing their hair in cold water? during the summer?
that wouldn't cause a cold. You would have gotten an infection from someone else, not the cold water.
