i think but it will shrink them so dont botherIs washing your clothes in HOT water, sufficient enough to get out the oils from the plant, poison ivy?
I would use cold water and bleach. The bleach you can use on colored clothes not regular bleach. I run through poison ivy all the time because of all the land I have and this always does the trick. There is no other way! That is what the experts say. Trust me on this one.

P.S. Do not use vinegar! It does nothing but waist it. Seriously who would be dumb enough to use that on clothes.
It doesn't really matter what temp. the water is, just make sure you use enough soap. You might try adding some white distilled vinegar to the wash cycle.1 cup per load. And have no fear it will not stain the clothes like bleach will or leave a lingering odor. My son's are Boy Scouts and I have to wash all their camping clothes this way. So I know it works!
i am not sure, but if you can, you should wash the clothes in the washing machine, with good soap and water. that will definitely rid the poison ivy.
Cathecol and Eurshiol are the active oils, and are broken down by heat, But moreso by soap. Here are several opinions. http://www.attackpoint.org/discussionthr鈥?/a>
Yes, it's the soap that removes the poison ivy oils, rather than the heat. But heat cleans better than cold.
Yes you can. Hot water and soap.
interesting....

It should be okay
